Dermoid cyst - Laparoscopic Cystectomy
Symptoms
A 37 year old woman presented with a 45mm dermoid cyst.
Diagnosis
This had been noted on a pelvic ultrasound in pregnancy. The size remained stable during pregnancy. The woman presented after the pregnancy.
Procedure
A Laparoscopic Cystectomy was performed. The procedure is performed in 45 minutes.
Outcome
The left ovary will gradually heal and go back to a normal appearance.
