Uterine Fibroid - Myomectomy

Symptoms

A 41 year old woman presented with a long history of very heavy bleeding.

Diagnosis

A Pelvic Ultrasound revealed a 15cm dominant uterine fibroid.

Procedure

She subsequently underwent myomectomy – to preserve the uterus for a possible pregnancy later.
